Works for me. I agree with someone who called it "snappy", as it seems to launch apps faster. As to complaints about the Finder, they are like lice on a pup... everywhere. But the HFS file system seems to make sense to a lot of us.
I have Adobe's Creative 5.5 Creative Suite Master Collection. 20-plus Gigs of Adobe. And everything is fine. That's pretty awesome in itself...
A note: maybe fix permissions with Disk Utility. There are a few things that needed fixing in authd. Otherwise, high scores for system performance and stability. As someone else said, at least so far!
The problem of always resetting itself to a different date so that when you open it, you have to select the date you want, the year, etc...
Any journal app has to be quick and easy (for me). It's still very basic and not quite worth the money being asked...yet. It does have potential. I believe it needs a redesign. It certainly is Mac-like. But it needs some features to set it apart from the great journal apps like MacJournal and the incredible late and lamented (but still Lion compatible) Journler.
I can't rate it yet because I don't feel it's ready yet for prime time.
Just my opinion. But thank you for making a free trial available.
Software Update (under apple menu) does not show this update, nor does the Apple Download site, not to mention the app store. I'll wait a while. Any explanations for this? I'm running Lion 10.7.2 on a 2.66 Intel Xeon Quad Core with 6GB DDR.
How nice. The first app of 2012. May it be a harbinger of all good things to come. Happy New Year to the creator of this wonderful piece of software. An excellent update. Simply the best.
V6 is OK. My review is entirely subjective.
If I could go back in time and get a version of 2.5 that magically ran on Lion I would do it. They are all PPC versions, though.
Why? It was just so quick, and simple, and uncluttered.
I used it for addresses, emails, and not much else.
The search function worked great.
But 6 is good. I miss all the icon colors but that's Lion so it's OK... Just very very feature-rich. Tool bar options are innumerable. In the age of Adobe, that's a good thing.
From Hotcakes: "Lady Gaga is one of the most popular recording artists of the last ten years, and it’s easy to picture her “Poker Face” track becoming one of the most popular tracks on the Spotify service. And it is – but despite getting one million plays in five months, Gaga only received $167 in royalties. As you can imagine, she would’ve made hundreds of thousands, had those plays been files bought off iTunes. Only time will tell, as some artists are removing their music entirely, while some of the biggest are soldiering on, their consent a matter of debate."
From Spotify: "We respect creativity and believe in fairly compensating artists for their work. We've cleared the rights to use the music you'll listen to in Spotify."
From me: I'm a well known musician who's been at it for 50 years and has over 70 albums on iTunes. Take it from me, I haven't seen ONE CENT from Spotify.
Aikousha, re Douglas Adams' Sirius Cybernetics Corporation. You got it. The way things are shaping up, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Vogons arrive, and soon.
Meanwhile, I'm off to have a Pan-Galactic Gargle-Blaster or three, and visit the Mexamegallon Museum of Diseased Imaginings. Keep on smilin'!

I'm of the mind that you don't post your updates on-line until you are completely good to go.
And ... I sure do miss the old icons. Option to switch to colored icons hereby requested.
