I find this application to be a decent competitor to others like ImageWell, but its apparent lack of resizing and cropping features - if they're there, I couldn't find them - is a showstopper for me. Otherwise, its feature set is very close to what I'd want for quick graphics I post to the Web.
What I'm getting at is that Picturesque shows promise but it's not great yet.
I feel like I'm missing the point of this software. I thought I'd like it, but other than throwing extra dialogs into Safari, I feel like it's worse than using the system's Keychain facilities.
With Keychain Access, I can already create new, randomized, high entropy passwords for every service. It takes a little manual effort, but when I have "save passwords" enabled in the Safari preferences, the quick trip to Password Assistant (or the use of the third-party application that makes it available as a standalone tool) gets me a new password each time that is automatically saved.
Although 1Passwd says it stores your passwords in your Keychain, I find its implementation lacking. I actually know how to visit Keychain Access and thus often use it to look up passwords when I need them. 1Password seems to obfuscate the passwords it stores, and it puts them in its own "1Passwd" keychain. So, you're instantly managing an additional keychain with an additional passphrase - not horrible, but something to think about.
Maybe if I sit down and try to grok this software better, I'll "get it." But even though I bought it during a special deal, I haven't really become enamored with it or what it adds above Apple's built-in features.
