Sorry but risking sending private information through their servers is a no no for me.
They don't seem to disclose very much about themselves on their website.
I wanted to like this, especially since it's offered free in Australia.
But it is just too intrusive. Its strength in picking out many sites well is also it's weakness. It can be over vigilant making web browsing virtually useless.
In the end it would better to just disconnect your internet and live in a monastery. Sorry but the internet nowadays is full of online media, i.e. videos, music, podcasts, photo albums etc, and I'm talking about the CLEAN stuff.
This software pretty much bans it all. Which is weird as in the logs it seems to usually know the difference between "banned" categories you have selected and things you've allowed.
Yet for some very odd reason even when you allow everything it still ends up randomly blocking things???? And don't get me started on the user/password system it uses.
It slightly creeps me out that it pretty much keeps tabs on everything you do (email, chat, online purchases) and possibly sends it all to their servers. And yes I know you can make changes in the admin options, yet like I said above it doesn't seem to work.
Hmm SMART itself may not be reliable but at least if you're getting a more indepth check it might prove to be reliable in the long run.
SMART Utility offers additional functionality, including pre-failure warnings, that SMARTReporter doesn't seem to offer? (http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/24875/smart-utility)
I'm trying it out, no crashes yet. But not free :(
Though SMART Utility is really a GUI for the open source command line tool 'smartmontools':
http://smartmontools.sourceforge.net/
Or SMARTctl which is free, but hasn't been updated in over a year.

Wow, what a cool little program. Is it really this underrated? I don't think I've seen any information about this anywhere else.
It does what it says and helped me a lot with some corrupt Windows ttf typefaces. It converted them perfectly and now they work, (only had one instance of a font not able to be converted).
Can't believe no one commented.
It's a great little app that plays your saved flash content. Okay I may have had more use for this before I found other applications that could play flash content. But still it's a nice utility if you don't need any other wiz bang features that come with other apps.
But yes I know it's technically not made to *just* play flash but oriented to developers.
Thanks for the update, it installs but I'm getting the "not able to right click" problem now. Seems to happen with the other ad blockers too. At least its not crashing when I right click.
I agree with JMAX, auto tagging doesn't seem to work. I thought it would actually search through for words within the currently selected document?? But it gives me random words which have nothing to do with the pdf I'm looking at? :(

The version and licensing has changed completely with this app.
It is no longer free (there is a free limited trial version).
DeSmuME
Seems it's broke on 10.4.11.
Then again it's late, I can't think straight and I'm sure it's an easy answer, what are the requirements for the new build again??
Paparazzi!
It seems to be an off and on thing. Though it does tend to happen on very long pages.

SafariBlock
Like one poster several months ago noticed, whenever I right click in Safari it causes a crash. If I right click on a flash animation I get a menu.
Was there ever a solution for this?
