I am very happy with the product as I have 5 mac's with photos strewn about
I am merging them on to one and will have over 120 k photos and clips

at about 100 k I realized there were dups
so I cranked up the annihilator ...I am half way thru an estimated 5 days...eeeek

Md5 returns a 32 byte hash .. assume you need more in a table let say 100 bytes

100k photos is a table 10meg ...tiny by todays standards

with multi core compares after table build and a serialized dup table update

you should finish in way less than an hour

still love the app ...but not touching my Iphoto for 5 days is not practical
