Looks interesting. It's too bad the App Store doesn't allow demos, because I'd prefer to try it before buying. Maybe the developer could release a free version that supports only one language?
While it's nice to have a Mac version of this tool, $149 seems a little steep. Especially since this one doesn't have some of the more advanced features of the free kcachegrind, like graphing and memory profiling. Still, it does the basics pretty well -- breaking down the execution time of all your function calls. And it has an outline view, which kcachegrind doesn't have.
If you want to use kcachegrind on the Mac, you can install it with Fink. You'll need graphviz as well, for the graphing features.
They still haven't fixed the bug in 4.0, where some resources will be cached, even after manually clearing the cache. Very frustrating for web developers.
Anyone else having problems with this under 10.5.6? Once in a while it slows to a halt every time I invoke it. And sometimes it loses track of the order of apps, or doesn't show a newly-launched app in the list. Stopping and starting LiteSwitch fixes it for a while.
When I launch this, it gives me an error that at least version 4.7 of iTunes is required. Then it quits. I have version 7.1.1 sitting in my applications folder.
[Version 1.3.1]
