I have used Discus for a long time. It is a must-have utility, as I can load Discus and make a quick sign, poster, or CD label before Photoshop has finished loading its plugins. Speed and focus are its great strengths, and although I mostly use it for my DVD backups, i do appreciate the thousands of built in paper labels it supports.

Also it has a cross-platform file format, and you get both a mac and windows version on the same disc for a single price; I wish more companies did this, I hate having to buy all my adobe products twice.
