ok, figured out the problem with the que. i have a preset i made that has "force subtitles only" checked, and in .92 it would always grab english. now it goes to none, and it will not add it to the que, but if i simply choose "autoselect" or a language, it will work just fine.
love that it will take any source now! having trouble with loading multiple movies into the que. it will not load some of my dvds in. choose add to que and it just wont add it. hopefully it will be an easy update or something.
app seems pretty nice. i like simple things like this for keeping all my notes and todo's organized. apple ical is great for a calender, but lacks any order for todo's.
so this app seems nice, it is small, and handles a lot of what omniFocus can do, BUT, 40 usd, that is super steep for this i feel.
omniFocus has a lot more aspects to it, but is twice the cost.
a little bummed on the new version. you have to paste all your old snippets into the new version. it will not import an exported database. that's frustrating.
the app is totally rewritten and the new interface is not as nice as the old one imho.
old version, you could see a long list of snippets below the catagories, and the new version, that is all gone. i felt the old way was easier to see everything, rather than using the search field to locate what you want.
the notes field has been moved to the far right, and i felt it was better colored and easier to see above the code, that way your brain read it before the code and left myself notes in there for using the code.
the new app looks and feels like code collector pro/lite, so if you like the way that one worked, then you will be happy.
i wish the old version had had some bug fixes added to it, but oh well, will look for another snippet library, just don't care for the way the new model works.
i wanted to follow up with my earlier comment about it not checking on schedule. the new version. 5.6 works as expected, and everyone should use this app!
still the best email client out there for people who like to be effecient.
the fastest cleanest mail app i have used, but alas, does not play well with leopard. it will not check for mail on schedules, and having written the dev twice on this with no response, not sure when it will be good to go.
it does work, you just have to check for mail manually until they update something.
simple to install, and really does make a difference in the look. slightly tighter and smaller than the apple one, and the playback head is much better to see where you are. feels like the one in quicktime pro.
so, good job and thanks.

Task Timer

it was small on screen. easy to choose a project and task, and hit start. it was really great.
and then came the new version 4.0!
gone are the days of a small window for tracking up to 5 projects. gone are the days of easily choosing a project and task and hitting start.
now, you get a nice big window with everything in it at once. you get to open flipout panes and then choose a task for the project, then hit start.
sweet! progress at its best.
oh well, time to start searching for another app that is small and does not take up the whole screen.

that could be why, but apps should not need foreign languages to run if it is ready for english.
can't give an accurate review due to above.

being a designer, as most do, we turn off unneeded fonts all the time. technically, it is ok to turn off fonts that are not needed at a system level.
if you were to set the app to use lucida grande, you would always be able to open since that is a font that cannot be turned off.
going to check out the app now, it looks promising.

also repaired permissions to see if it was anything there.
this was a clean install of 10.5 and fresh install of 5.5.3.
