One of the challenges of the game is to find open slots for the pie pieces you are given. Since you cannot rotate pieces, you must plan ahead where to place them and try to keep space open as much as possible. The longer you go without clearing a circle, the more likely it will be that you will not be able to place a piece.

If every piece could be placed, you would never lose a life and the game would go on forever ;-)

Re: Rottweiler; If you think nothing has changed in this release then try running CandyBar 1.5.1 with Mac OS X 10.2.6. Each release of the OS needs to have an updated version of CandyBar in case Apple decides to move icon resources around. If you want the program to be as safe to use as possible, then these point updates shouldn't surprise you. And to Buud, please don't post a negative review and then not offer reasons why. Simply stating "Its useless" is unfair and is hardly helpful.
