I know that ;-) as I am the official packager of MediaInfo Mac OS X version. Jérôme Martinez - developer of MediaInfo - does not have a MacUpdate developer account so I have found this way to inform Mac users of new Mac OS X version of MediaInfo.
MediaInfo Droplet is only a wrapper of MediaInfo CLI while waiting for a new version of MediaInfo GUI by Jérôme Martinez with more fonctionalities (drag and drop...). Note that MediaInfo Mac simply uses MediaInfoLib designed by Jérôme.
Sorry for the misunderstanding. I DO not demote MediaInfo Mac as you can read for example in my comment on MediaInfo Mac Mac Update page on 26 february,
"MediaInfo Mac by Diego, uses Jérôme MediaInfo library in a fast and well designed GUI". I know that it is not so easy to build a cocoa app, much more difficult than in Apple Script Studio I must admit.
I am the packager of MediaInfo GUI. I would like to inform you that there is a new version of MediaInfo GUI available here:
