very sad about this I agree, that iclip is very superior to other clip apps - For me, it is still working for old text clips (formerly recorded under leopard or tiger) on snow, but if you want to record a new one than it will stuck.
And you have to kill the process

version one is going better,

nevertheless it's often crashing, you may save every line you're typing ;-)

And no means to export to avi file, miyu crashes or it does nothing.

Quicktime export is working well, but it's producing awful files (more than 1 GB for 9 minutes)

Mpeg streamclip is your friend …

After updating to 7.3 video in keynote presentation is broken.
Black screen and audio only.
Seems to be a hasty update. Hope they'll fix it quickly

Jing

Unfortunately there's a bug in video capture with audio.
Jing modifies the prefs when you click on video capture (from internal to line entry), so there will be no audio on the resulting video when you want to use internal microphone.
A workaround: get open the prefs window and rechange it manually before starting your speech, a little bit painfull :-(
Support says that it's affecting only ppc.
Unless this hassle it's good stuff.
