Sorry about the delay -- just a note to say that TrailRunner, actually, since several updates back, has stopped causing all that havoc to my preference files -- all original .plist extensions remain as is. Thanks.
On another note, TrailRunner is greatly appreciated, and is a fun way to keep stats on my jogging routes.
The menu highlighting for Butler's items don't conform to iLeopard's settings. In iLeopard's Aqua, the menu highlight should be grey-blue instead of bright blue. And in Graphite the highlight is slightly lighter. Otherwise, everything else is just wonderful.
I had to go through my Preferences folder, and normally I ignore the Size and Kind categories hidden beyond the Finder window, unless I open the window wide -- well, I decided this time to list everything by Kind. So, upon extending the window to access the column header, so as to view the Kind category, I was surprised to see that practically all of my preference files were identified as "TrailRunner Model Snapshots"! What's that all about??
What's the point of New Text Notes that can't be inputed with notes? While experimenting, I created 7 Untitled Notes that appear in the menu bar's Recent Entries but not in the Inbox.
Now my Inbox is empty, after filing my clippings, yet the menu bar's Recent Entries still list those 7 Untitled Notes.
And must I really drag a filed clipping from the Inbox to the desktop just to view it? -- Not to mention having to first select Organize... from the menu bar's menu to access the Inbox when it remains listed in the menu bar's Recent Entries list?
The screenshot looks a lot like Scarppar. 08. However, I can't evaluate Noted because the .bz2 file won't open when I click on it--it duplicates itself.
Because of Scribblet I ran into this little app -- and so far I'm liking it. Unlike Scribblet, MeNotes has a drop down menu with a list of, or categories for different notes. Too bad though that the developer might have left MeNotes aside because it could use further user refinements: the window frame is much too fat. And I separator line before the "new note" item would be appreciated. Otherwise, I'm liking this, and seems to be handling itself well. Also, the menu bar icon is super.
I had tried to update my new Little Disk, with the same catastrophic results as several users reported in the previous post.
And for each time I ran the Update Tool, the software confirmed that it had detected a device that needed a firmware updating.
I ran the Update utility many times hoping that it might eventually do its thing successfully -- but to no avail. So this last time I figured, what the hell, I'll try something different. Instead of choosing the Little Disk enclosure among LaCie's list of external drives, I chose the next best equivalent -- the Porsche Mobile drive -- and presto, the update ran its course successfully and my disk mounted on the desktop!
Hey--I'm glad that your glad! But seriously, what a relief. I too was in the process of packing my drive to send to LaCie, but was procrastinating. Evidently, waiting to do things at the last moment also seems to reap its rewards...

Is there anyway to add search engines? Selecting an engine with a keyboard shortcut would also be nice to.
