I require the capability to print checks. See has not had that capability (nor do the presently have such). But according to their web site: "it is coming soon".
Back in mid February 2010, I was very interested in converting to See. So I sent an email to See inquiring when that capability would actually be included.
Following are extracts from their replies:
28 Feb 2010: “We are going to add check printing, but it will probably be about three months before it is available though.”
28 Feb 2011: “OS X 10.7 (Lion) is not expected to be released until Summer and check printing should be included in SEE Finance before that time.”
29 Jun 2011: “We're hoping to have check printing added sometime this summer.”
8 Aug 2011: “Hopefully check printing will be added within the next 2 months.”
22 Sep 2011: “We do not have a specific date for the check printing addition, but it should be in either the 0.9.14 or 0.9.15 release.”
I’ll leave it to others to form their own conclusions After 24 months, mine, alas, are far too clear…
I too found the update quite straight forward and without issue. AFAIK, all is right with the world.
As a note, after installing this update, one may need to verify that his Airport Express (if applicable) is likewise updated to v7.6.1. The DL and install is the same technique as with the base station.
The entire process takes about 5 minutes, during which your heart may stop beating. But just be patient and allow the install and update process to complete without interruption.
When I installed the 4.0.1 Plugin, It concluded with an alert that the Plugin was installed successfully.
But when I went to the Garmin.comDashboard page, I always got “Plugin Not Installed Exception”.
Many emails later and 2 hours of live/phone Garmin Tech Support did not resolve the issue and ended with the recommendation that I wait for the next version.
I like the GPS, but the SW & Tech Support are, IMNHO, unacceptable.
I cannot but conclude, that the Garmin SW Development Team and their tech support is Mac Challenged in the extreme.
I went the upgrade route, not because I am so enamored with this app, but because I do use it and no shareware developer stays in business by giving his property away. Sadly, fewer than 10% of the users ever make a (voluntary) donation.
As a tip (learned the hard way), I suggest (provided you have a backup) running the Growl Legacy Uninstaller prior to making the purchase from the Apple Store. The uninstaller can be found at http://growl.info/documentation/growl-package-removal.php#1.2easy
And, FWIW, Growl is no longer a Preference Pane, but is now an app with a Menu Bar icon.
I have used this 5 star app for years. As far as IÕm concerned, Apple should open their check book, and pay Yellow Mug a mil (or two) for this app, and then include SND with the OS.
But I do have two nits that even the developers are wrestling with:
1) I am unable to use the Òarrow pointerÓ, instead I always get the cross hairs.
2) I cannot get the sound to work.
Does anyone else have these problems or suggested solutions?
Nearly every time I launch FB, I get the advisory that I must enter my serial number. This occurs so often (about 90% of the time) that I now keep an alias of the File Buddy.fbAutoReg on my desktop.
I'm wondering if anyone is experiencing the same problem and if there is a fix.
I just wrote the developer. Should I get a response, I'll post the relevant details.
In desperation, I deleted my Skytag plists. I then reentered my original serial number. For the time being, that seemed to fix things. Perhaps my “fix” will work for you too (still, a verified backup is suggested).

The app works as promised, is rock-solid, and user-friendly.
Truly a five star program. Bravo!
Lion Tweaks
But, upon restart, I found the default colorless icons returned, and I must (re)enable this setting/preference.
Is it moi, or is there a solution that I missed?

Your tip re relaunching the Finder worked as advertised. Many thanks and a hearty bravo!

Smart Scroll
Now that the GM 10.7.2 has been seeded to developers, I can but hope Smart Scroll will continue to work when 10.7.2 is released to the public.

I just DL'd it and gave it a go. As for me, my previous problem is now resolved and all works as designed.
Bravo to all those who were so responsive and diligent, and making success look easy.
