If only this app would rename jpg files to their date and timeâ€¦ I really don't understand why there is counter after date if there could be HH.mm.ss or HHmmss. That would make this tool for me perfect. Now I still have to use some other software to rename photos to their EXIF date and time. (For example, 20050701_184621.jpg)

I paid full price for Xtorrent 1.0, I also added family pack, and also lifetime upgrades option. Now when v. 2.0 is out I'm asked to pay full price again. No sir, this I won't do. It's called cheating your customers.

Thanks, it really worked! I didn't know that. There's no information about upgrade options on developer's web site. Only info about full prices. Sorry.

I just tried to save my OmniGraffle Pro (OGP) 5.1rc1 (v.137.6.0.106738) document with the document window resized bigger than the actual document (about 1 inch to each side), then I quit application, re-opened saved document, and it opened with the same window size as it was saved in the previous session. No problems.

For the To Dos and Events widget's width is too small. Either allow me to make widget as wide as I need, or wrap To Dos text, because all I see is just the first 2-3 words, which often says nothing. And in the end I still have to open iCal to read...
In the To Dos tab opening calendar list is very sluggish. (I have 13 calendars).

You can always place neutral desktop background and keep your desktop clean. Or move document window to the right side, over the few icons there... Anyway, there are several options.

Yeah, I downloaded and indeed it's 267 MB! Well, apparently they've cooked something mighty big in there. I looked inside package file and there are lots of color profiles, kernel extensions, etc. Probably über-control over printouts. OK, good for Pixma Pro 9000/9500 owners!

Leopard users - DO NOT INSTALL LCC 2.4!!!

After updating 10.5.7 with Safari 4.0 to Safari 4.0.1 I see that the content of pages is not displayed correctly anymore. Somethig to do with CSS. Looks like CSS is ignored, or something like that… Every page looks different, sometimes big chunks are missing…

Sorry for my previous post! I had enabled few items in the Developer menu - Disable Styles, Disable JavaScript, Disable Site-specific Hacks. As soon as I enabled these options, everything runs fine again! :-)

When I launched it first time, it started to load Aperture library and immediately crashed. Then I launched it again, but now I can see no images in Aperture library - instead of images it shows only question marks on the blue rectangles. When I click on Prefernces in the application menu, they don't open. When I click Send Feedback... - also nothing happens. Is this a joke on users? Have they tested their app before making it publicly available?

MacBook Pro 17" 2.33GHz 2 GB RAM, 160 GB free on HDD, Mac OS X 10.5.5 with all the latest updates. Aperture library contains 40.000+ referenced images.

Almost every second word in the opened PDF document in TextEdit is together with another word. Almost half of the spaces between the words are missing.
My system: Mac OS X "Leopard" 10.5.2, default keyboard input: Latvian. Latvian text in PDF document. (Created from Pages 3.0.2).

v.2.4 is NOT Leopard 10.5.2 compatible!

I updated iMac 24" (Core2Duo) to 10.5.2, then installed LCC 2.4, restarted iMac and... Mac stopped booting at the blue screen. Waited 10 minutes - no progress. Had to log in in Safe mode and remove all LCC kext files from the System folder, then iMac could boot in normal mode. Logitech, please update this LCC version so that it's really 10.5.2 compatible!

Create Booklet PDF Service

I can't create and print out A4 PDF booklets from A5 pages from Pages 3.0.1. I open empty page, set page size to A5, type text, about 7-8 pages. Then press Print > PDF... > Create Booklet. A4 format PDF document is created and open in Preview application, 4 pages, on each page side there are two original A5 pages. To print booklet, I check that page is A4 format (it is), press Print from File menu, in Paper Handling options I set "Scale to fit paper size: Borderless A4". So it should print page to fit A4 page. Then I press Print button. But in the printout text is much smaller than A4, it is almost like A5! There is no way to get full page A4 format output. If I do the same steps from Mellel text editor, then PDF document which is created from Mellel's A5 document is printed on the whole A4 page. Somehow Pages generates PDF booklet with some wrong settings, which prevent correct printing on the whole page, even if "Scale to fit paper size: Borderless A4" option is checked. I have MacBook Pro 17" 2.33GHz, Mac OS X 10.4.11, HP deskjet 5850 inkjet printer with original Tiger's driver. I use Create Booklet PDF Service 1.0.1 to create PDF booklets. Actually there's no crash (at least not visible). Application just doesn't launch. I double-click and nothing happens.
Wow! Now it opened! I cojuld trim, but for some strange reason now I have PowerPC applications on Intel Mac! Is this just a message bug, or it really trims wrong part of the code?

Wow! Surprise, suprise! I thought it's to remove useless code regardless of which system I use. For PPC Macs - remove Intel, for Intel Macs - remove PPC code. It turns out this is not the case. Maybe you could write with bold letters that this app is only for PPC Macs? So that Intel Mac owners wouldn't even bother with it. For Intel and PPC Macs there is excellent $11 application Xslimmer. I tried it today and it works (almost) perfectly.

Notae doesn't remember width of the columns. (For example, Name column width). Could you add column width values in the application preferences (plist) file?

If I add Tags which don't fit in the column, tags are displayed over the next (Created) column. If I resize Tags column to the right, Created column still has the end of the tag labels visible. Clicking on any entry removes that artefact. Or, if I make Tags column too narrow to display all tag label, and then make it wider by moving Created column to the right, again the right end of the tag labels remain visible on the Created column. Can this be corrected?

Notae

1. If I type in the Search field some word, Notae lists entries where this word is present. I select some entry and see that word highlighted. Now I delete that word in the Search field and type the next word I see in the currently visible note. Next word is highlighted, BUT - previous word also is still highlighted! There should be some refresh.

2. If I copy some portion of text into the Clipboard (and that text starts with the opening quotation mark), and paste it in the Search field, all text string which is found gets highlighted with the grey colour, but as soon as I click on it, every word gets different colour highlight. (After that clicking somewhere else doesn't change highlight colour). Is this behaviour correct?

3. Could you add option to search for the exact phrase? So that all other instances of individual words wouldn't get highlighted or displayed in the result list. For example, if I set some phrase in quotation marks or square brackets, or something like that.

4. How about adding folder list in the left pane, similar to Apple Mail 2 Mailbox pane? It would be much easier to sort and classify notes. And I could create and use Smart Folders too! For example, Smart folder for all notes with the "Audio" tag and creation date . Wow! Notae would become ÜberNotes! :) This feature is very important for me because I'm looking for the application where I could store all our publishing house book texts (about 10.000+ pages) for easy lighting-fast search. Without folder list it's hard to manage tens and sometimes even hundreds of chapters of text... And a little bit more robust search capabilities (like exact phrase) would make Notae perfect candidate for this purpose!

(I hope it can handle 10.000 pages of text without loosing speed?)

Chamonix

I can open Chamonix, but as soon as I try to open some CHM file, Chamonix silently crashes or closes. No error message is being displayed.

Console dispays this info:

It looks like path is wrong... I'm not "james", and currently Chamonix is on my Desktop.
