To those users frustrated with Sandvox: it is perfect for what it is designed for, and offers some powerful and useful features that its competition doesn't. The facility with which one can maintain and modify a site finally makes web design almost as simple and quick as writing an email. You may see the parameters within which you have to work in order to benefit from its extreme efficiency as a feature or an impediment, but if the latter, then it is not a fault of Sandvox, but of using the wrong software for the job. Comparing Sandvox with Dreamweaver is nonsense.
I've built sites from scratch, with very little knowledge of html, and it was hell every time, even if the end result looked exactly how I wanted it. My professional site is stagnating because it's too complicated to update. Meanwhile, my personal site is a pleasure to muck about with, because it's a Sandvox-built site.
Just try to find anything remotely comparable at the price, and from a company that is as supportive of its customer base as Karelia.
I recently purchased a LaCie LaCinema Black Max Wi-Fi media server (available only in Europe, but this shouls also apply to the rest of the LaCinema line). The hardware, which I recommend highly, is packaged with Twonky Media Server, which I do not. In desparation I tried Playback, and am very satisfied. It is very stable under both OS 10.4 and 10.6 (I just upgraded), and most importantly for me mounts on and updates the data to the Black Max rapidly and correctly. Settings are easy to figure out and I am for the first time thoroughly enjoying my home media network. Support from yazsoft has been rapid and friendly (I also use their The Tube software). Very, very happy.
