Symantec is showing its poor commitment to Mac users' needs by having no longer upgraded Norton Utilities for Mac.
That's why I no longer upgraded Norton Antivirus and I suggest everybody does the same.
It worked fine the first time I installed it onto my PB Wallstreet/G3 with a Sonnet G3/500 Upgrade. I even update Panther online.
I duly registered for XPostFacto Support and the related confirmation was #1093118.
Unfortunately, after a couple of months I began having problems and, since then, I was -definitely- unable to either reinstall Panther or even Jaguar.
I was asking for help since Sun, 1 Aug 2004 17:32:44 +0100 addressing my requests to and but, unfortunately, I have not as yet received any sign of reply. Not even return-receipts to my messages.
Finally, I was obliged to delete everything to install at least Jaguar onto my hard disk because all my efforts to do it over XPostfacto files were unsuccessful: Jaguar was very instable, all applications were closing unexpectedly and the system restarted each time without shutting off.
