Before 1Password switched to versione 3.9 I was able to create Accounts and Login and to move them to the folders I created to maintain ordered the various account and login. Now I can't: I create a Login item to my Apple Account, I move it in Apple Folder and after 15 seconds it disappears.
If I go to Preferences/File Associations and deselect "Java ZIP Archive" thans BetterZip isn't the default app to open simple ZIP archives while if I select "Java ZIP Archive" BetterZip is the default app to open either JAR archive than ZIP archive. You should separate JAR to ZIP.
The problem is not with JAVA Archive, but with ZIP Archive and strangely is connected with the option for JAVA Archive.
I downloaded Unison of Panic Company to evaluate it: I downloaded a .ZIP Archive. Well:
• If I select "Java ZIP Archive" then the .ZIP Archive is opened by BetterZip
• If I deselect "Java ZIP Archive" the the .ZIP Archive is opened by Utility Compression of OS X Lion.
With .JAR Archive is all OK: if I select "Java ZIP Archive" the .JAR is opened by BetterZip and If deselect "Java ZIP Archive" then the .JAR is opened with Apple Java Script. The mysterious problem is with .ZIP Archive: the control of .ZIP Archive is determined by option about .JAR Archive!
Hi.
I'm experiencing great problems with 1Password 3.9.0 for OS X Lion. I've bought it on Mac AppStore and I am using it since last week: to save a password using user interface of 1Password is impossible.
An exemple:
• I create a new folder, e.g. "Sport" to save in it my Sport site account
• I clic on "+" button to add an account
• I select "Generic Account"
• Every key on keyboard I press, 1Password stop my modification, close the new account I want to add and delete it automatically
It's a disaster! I'm very sorry but it's a very bad purchase.
I've a questione.
When I compress a file or folder using .RAR archive format with split option activated, I can't choose between KB, MB and GB but it is selected by default KB, so if I have to split a file of 4 GB in 4 segment I've to use the notation 1047586 KB. It could be possible to select the unit measure for splitting .RAR archive?
I've bought it on Mac App Store and I don't like it much.
• The date on bottom in pop-out doesn't change automatically: this is not a good feature, it should change automatically and give at the same time the possibility to the user to go back and forward through the dates
• The geen and red icon are not useful: those makes the interface not clean
• The function "move the undone task to following days" doesn't work well: if you doesn't assign a time limit to do a task in certain day and this task remain undone, then it isn't moved to the following day
After some initial problems with BetterZIP due to the absence by default of RAR compressor, I can say that actually this is the best archive utility for OS X.
I would like to thanks the developer to his patience about explaining me how to add the RAR compress.
I've downloaded the latest version (3.8.8) from developer website to try on OS X Lion 10.7. I've uncompressed the ZIP file and moved the app to the applications folder, but when I try to run the app, that crashes and doesn't work.
OS X Lion
MacBook Pro 13-inch mid2009
Intel Core 2 Duo
I would like to buy it but I see that it is missing support to create .RAR archives (and splitted .RAR volumes).
Is it correct or I am wrong?
Do you think it could be possible to implement support for RAR creation?
Thanks.
