I use VueScan with my old Canon FS2710 film/slide scanner.
I had a problem with VueScan not seeing my scanner when connected via an Adaptec USB2-Xchange adaptor.
After a lot of support from Ed the developer this now works perfectly.
I highly recommend this software to anybody wanting to continue using a now unsupported, by the manufacturer, scanner.

I have 3 DVD drives, 2 internal and 1 external. One of the internal drives is region free, the other 2 drives aren't.
