Transmission

i just noticed this now and i think it's by design since it happens with transmission and jdownloader but maybe you guys can help me out. i schedule it to speed limit to 0KB (pause) between 9am and 2am so it only downloads at night. if i sleep my mac and wake it up at 3am the transfers are not resumed automatically (since it's past 2am). is there any way for transmission to check the time after awaking from sleep and honor the schedule settings?

thumbs is a welcome addition, it wins on theme customization but loses on workflow (no folder/subfolder support, no automatic processing after drag) compared to skreenics. right now i'd say they're in the same league and, as crazy as it may sound, miles away from windows apps in terms of power and features.

correction: supports folder/subfolder drag (works in finder, probably a bug in path finder).

i'm no developer or writer but just recently learned the markdown basics to post on a forum.

out of curiosity, i tried writing markdown in bbedit, nvalt, byword, ia writer and mou and they all fulfill my really basic editing needs.

strangely, mou is the only app that gives me a warm feeling and puts a stupid smile on my face, while using it. it's like it's made of drugs or candy or something. i can't explain the lure.

since i already use nvalt, i really don't need an extra app but... i just can't uninstall mou... the lure... too strong... must resist... before... it's too late...

VMware Fusion

downloaded fusion 4 last night, 3 times, and when i mount the dmg, the upgrader app simply doesn't launch when double clicked and the vmware fusion app itself has the forbidden circled slash badge on its icon.

anyone with the same problem?

forget it, slashed icon means not compatible version, i just saw the requirements are Mac OS X 10.6.7 or later (10.7 recommended).
we, pre-appstore users, are left out.

anyone knows if it's possible to just show the %sender %subject tokens (in growlmail's prefs) in new notifications without any bit of the mail body?
like just:

johnny appleseed
borrow cds

the simplest i can get is a notification that i have a number of new emails in my inbox without any token info.
