I have used this program for years now! It is simple, effective, and it does the job without fuss.

As well, updates are free - you're not locked into a never ending spiral of paying for "updates"!

Spam is a pain when you get lots of emails - I used to be a "Junkmatcher" user because it works, but SS works better.

Minimal training issues - just click on a menu choice!

One word of advice - before you begin with SS, build up some spam mail - it will help you "train" ss much quicker than doing it the way I did it.

I agree with the previous two writers, but I've paid for Cocktail because it works.

I also use MainMenu more times, as Cocktail is slower. MM will get the job done quickly and effectively.

Excllent. I have to run two platforms (PeeCee and Mac) and find that this software is the easiest and most effective on either.

I do full disk back-ups and want each to be bootable. The only way I can do this on the "dark" side (PeeCee) is with a program that restarts the computer and does a complete clone of the HD.

SD not only does its incremental back-ups effectively, but it does it quickly.

Top stuff - small price!

I have used ths software since 10.4 began and find it THE most useful of the software of its type. It is simple, effective and clean. I run it before every HD Back-up and have never had a problem.

G5, 10.4.9, 1Gb RAM.
