And just like that, good-bye Quicken 2007!!!
Two main reasons I went with SEE Finance:
1-It can download quotes for my Canadian Mutual Funds (from Yahoo Fiannace). While iBank also uses YF, it annoyingly refused to d/l quotes. Queries on their board regarding this have gone unanswered. Quicken 2007 no longer d/l's quotes.
2-It can import transactions from ING Canada! Something Quicken could not do as ING Canada was not in the list of institutions.
3-Importing the Q '07's QIF file was painless and quite accurate.
4-Can't beat the introductory price :)
Usual disclaimer:I do not work for these guys; I'm just a happy customer who can finally and painlessly ditch Quicken.
Version 5 is now a 64-bit compatible app..sweet!
You'll have to pay for this upgrade (9$..a real steal) BUT if you paid within the last 18 months, free it is.
Yeesh, this beta version crashes faster than Woods' pristine image.
Back to stable version i go.
I do like how Safari isolates the crash instead of quitting altogether.
DT might be in the running with IRCle for the longest Beta ;)
Despite this DT remains an app I cannot do without. Yes its look is aged but, like an old VW Beetle, you'll still take care of it for its great strengths and capabilities carried out with aplomb.
While I have none of the problems aforementioned by fellow users, 1 problem that still keeps me away if Mozy's annoying feature which disallows my Mac from sleeping as per Energy Saver settings.
The same, btw, exists for iDrive so I'm quickly running out of offsite backup solutions :(
Not 5 minutes into the trial. i registered JABMenu for 2 licenses. I'm an old iAddressX user (still have it on my G5) and JABMenu is just the what I need as a replacement on my Macbook. running 10.6.1
Listing is quick and options as plentiful, I no longer have to fire up AB each time I need a number/email addy.
A suggestion: if at all possible JABMenu would be handy as a prefpane instead of a standalone app.
Once again Safari 4.03 does not load the plug in (2.8.2) and Garmin's test page cannot detect it. Firefox 3.5.3 however loads it fine and the plug-in is detected.
Following the tip from Mikencolo: I put Flip4Mac's plugins into a temp folder (Flip4Mac WMV Plugin.plugin and Flip4Mac WMV Plugin.webplugin)
Restarted Safari and success, the plug in is detected.
Now who'll fix the problem: Telestream or Garmin? ;)
