I just bought this software, but after reading the reviews (I know I should have read first, but oh well~), I can't help but worry to commit and allow CMM to clean my mac. Is there a list of steps of safety precautions that we can reference and guard first? I wish to be well informed in case something bad really happens. :/
This software has a lot of potential, and i really want to like it a lot.
Some of its features that I really like are shortcut keys that I can use to manage my clipboard, keeping a floating panel to allow click-and-paste, as well as my top favourite, abbreviations. What abbreviations does is say I type "eemail", and my token will be replaced by my actual email in my clipboard. This has a permanent space in the application and I really like it a lot.
Now what bugs me most is of course, the bugs. On initial launch, the abbreviations will work fine. After working for some time in other applications, I tried to use the feature again, but it failed. It is miserable. To get it to work again, I basically have to restart Clips. *doh~*
There are also some stability issues, which causes a crash a couple of times in a day.
I really want to like this app. Please do an update soon. Thanks.
I like this software. It delivers what it promises. The window though, has a few limitations which make me cringe.
I'm on a MacBook, so the screen real estate is not as big as a desktop mac. Upon launch, the app will have a default size that does not remember its previous size. This size, which I have no control of, goes larger than my screen real estate, which makes it impossible to resize and use. Some of the functions were under my docK! Because of this issue, I have to get another window resizing app just to properly size the window.
Also, there's no reason to have such a large minimum width limit. Please allow it to scale down gracefully.
If the above issues are addressed, this app will be a 5-star product.

I tried the only feature that this software promises to do, but it comes with an unexpected crash every single time!
If this software is still alive, please update it already!

Please let the app exist over all spaces and ignore expose by default. I was using it on another space and wondered why the app was not working. :/
