OK, this is adorable. It doesn't do anything other than what it says -- but it is adorable. If you add in Hulu links, this might become my favorite one-note app ever!

Perian's Type Installer

Well, it adds the "type" icon but on my Intel MB running 10.5.1 it still doesn't play MKV

Well, since I do have Perian installed - I thought perhaps this would work. As it stands, MKV plays sans audio in QT. If the problem is that the Perian plugin isn't compatible with MKV, then why is this add-on changing the icon type? It becomes confusing because I was under the impression this was released by people affiliated with Perian - if it's just some dude's custom Apple Script, that should be more clear.

There are currently no troubleshooting comments by this member.
