Tried the demo for 1.3.3r2 today. The preference pane install has a major bug - after installing, the search option in System Preferences STOPPED working.
Tried to like the software, but cannot accept interference with normal and core OS behavior. I guess I will be back to Sofa Control or Remote Buddy.
I got Cha-Ching with the latest MH bundle - and uninstalled this within the first 30 mins. Too buggy - the UI seems to be the only thing in the application that has been focussed on.
For anyone planning to buy this separately, caveat emptor. Looks may be good, but functionality is less than zero.
I have the same experience as PumpkinWhite below. I tried uninstalling a program with both AppZapper (got as part of the MH bundle) and Forklift. Forklift consistently finds more application files than AZ. Ended up uninstalling AppZapper (by using Forklift of course).
I got Forklift as part of the Dec mupromo bundle. It is a nice little two-pane file manager, but the main use case I had is not working (though claimed to be supported) - which is SFTP using PUBLIC-KEY encryption. This is a pretty standard way of using SFTP, and which Cyberduck/Transmit handle without any issues whatsoever.
The SFTP connection dialog does indicate the Public Key authentication will be used if the password is not entered (same as Transmit), but does not actually connect - which is a deal-breaker for me.
This is great news! It is good to find the developers responsive to bugs and feature requests. BTW, I had raised this bug via the "contact us" feature on http://www.binarynights.com/, and had an immediately response email from the developers explaining the issue and the commitment to fix the bug.
Forklift definitely has a place in my Mac, and I will be eagerly awaiting this issue to get resolved soon.
