Has anyone had CP Notebook alert them when an update is available? This has not been the case for me. I only learn of new updates from MacUpdate.com.
Also, it is a pity that this product has stagnated so much. Still no true concept-maps, cloning, etc. Like their rival, NoteTaker, they have lost the ball.
Note: I posted a COMMENT and not a REVIEW. My comment was not meant as criticism. When I posted my comment the requirements were not well-listed. They are now.
I've used THL for over a year and I've finally decided to switch to OmniFocus. My task lists are so important I can no longer have confidence in this poorly supported app. For those considering switching, there are templates for OmniFocus that can mimic some aspects of THL graceful appearance. The learning curve is steeper but at least it is better supported and better integrated with the iPhone/iPod/iPad. My comment is meant to help concern THL transition to more reliable apps. Good luck to all.
Can someone confirm that if people are concerned about stolen laptops and use Prey or other tracking software than Anonym can actually precent recovery?
This latest version still has excessive icons in the menu bar but does get rid of excessive graphics in the dropdown menu. Clearer to see due dates. Getting rid of the 2 extra icons in the menu bar would make this more usable with cluttered menu bars and small screens. Does anyone else agree?
Is anyone else getting a Finder error −8003 when they try to delete Opera Next.app from their Mac? I repeatedly get it for this particular file and no other. I've tried the terminal command rm and rmdir but to no avail. Would appreciate it if someone could tell me how to delete it. No response from Opera, of course.
The update checker within Parallels does not work. Try this link if necessary http://download.parallels.com/desktop/v5/en_us/parallels/update4/ParallelsDesktop-parallels-en_US-5.0.9370.589435.dmg
Has anyone else been able to compress or resize a vm install? When I do so Parallels complains that I have snapshots installed even when I don't. Of course tech support refuses to answer my question about this.
P.S. I would NOT recommend this product (even with the bundle version) to people that frequently use tech support.
Still unable to upload large notebooks to MobileMe or save large notebooks as html/website. Anyone else successfully using this app to update and upload large notebooks? Perhaps AquaMind NoteTaker is better for this....
Parallels 4 seems to have keyboard problems on my machine. That is it seems to get confused with the Command key-Control key translation. I've given up on tech support (along with any hope for a rebate). I suggest people use VirtualBox (free) or VMWare Fusion (cheaper).

Scrivener seems promising...
