I downloaded this software a few weeks ago. The beauty part is it includes all the nec components to do pytivo without the ridiculous amount of command line interface to install and configure. I simply grab a movie I want to watch on my tv, put it in a folder that pytivox is watching, and it shows up in the now playing area. Converts and streams the content to the tivo as quick as the tivo and the network will allow! The longest I had to wait to start watching something was close to 2-3 mins. This eliminates any need for the AppleTV in my book! Fantastic software and the RIGHT price!
You can fine tune your controlling of the interval even more than this app may allow. (I admittedly have never used it)-There are instructions on macosxhints about setting the time inteveral:
I too ran into a problem with finding the software. It looks like from their homepage they sold it off to Prosoft Engineering and it is being rebranded as Jax. I just wanted to reinstall it as my hd crashed and it doesnt look like this will be possible for me either until Jax is up and running. BTW- www.prosofteng.com for the new url.
Ok so you can pay money for a filemaker database that someone obviously spent a lot of time working on making sure it has a field for EVERYTHING or you can use some software that will help you manage your collection like Delicious Library. There is a reason that time and time again Delicious Library gets voted the best management software for books, dvds and software. Plus tracks who you might have lent things to and has other developers working on plugins. If you want to use the right software for the tool go here:

Fantastic software! I just wanted to add how good I thought this software was. I download my tivo files, watch them via front row as it saves it right to my movies folder. Makes it truly a joy to use frontrow with my tivo content. Keep up the great work!
Downloaded and installed this as a standalone which I had no luck running this on Win 7 professional. The program quit each time I launched it and gave the standard "do you want to search the internet for an answer..."
I have bootcamp 3.0 installed so at first I thought it was because of this being installed so I went as far as to try and uninstall 3.0, then to install this, again without success. Additionally, the installer quit/gave the same response even when running from the Apple Software Update. The last attempt I made was running this in as "administrator" from the properties portion of the screen. For now I guess I have no choice but to stick with 3.0. Hopefully either Apple or someone comes up with a fix for this.
For what it is worth, this is on a MB Pro 17 Late 2008 with 4 gb of ram.
