My favourite browser just got better.More responsive and speedier than version 7. All the add-ons I used with the previous version work in Firefox 8.

Reading the recent comments in MacUpdate about the rapid releases of Firefox is the funniest thing on the internet!Keep it up!
Seriously,though,for a couple of lines,I still rate Firefox as the best browser, mainly because of the extensions. However,if all the available add-ons could be used for any browser, would I still stick with Firefox? Probably. Let's face it,Chrome looks as if it has been cobbled together by cowboys unable to complete the job properly.

Apple's Preview is slow at opening jpegs and tiffs,on my iMac running Lion, so I needed a replacement, and I have found it in Xee. What brilliant software, and so fast at opening images.Bye,Bye Preview.......you won't be missed.

Firefox 4,on my iMac running 10.6.6, will not connect to any websites.It's as if Firefox 4 is 'dead'. Anybody got any ideas how to solve this problem, which does not exist on Firefox 3.6.

Regarding my previous comment. I have now managed to get Acqlite working by ditching its Gnutella file in the Library, replacing it with a copy of LimeWire's Gnutella file.
