I hope I am wrong about this but I think Tweetie for Mac is dead.
I bought this app last year and was hoping to see the promised update to feature parity with Tweetie for iPhone (now the official Twitter client). But I don't think it is going to happen unless their next project is an official PC/Mac client.
And I would be surprised if they did that as the future of services like Twitter is obviously tied to mobility and instant communications.
I love YummySoup and have been using it for years, but now I want more…I want to send my shopping lists to a YummySoup app on my iPhone and have the ability to check off the items as I purchase them.
And yes I will pay for the app through the app store.
Some companies truly deserve the user community's support and I must say that LittleFin is one of the best I have encountered. They provide quick responses to user requests and they have a real commitment to making the application as good as it can be.
Continuing at a glacial pace: UnSanity now says that there is a beta for SL compatibility, but surprise, surprise you can't have it. Nope, not publicly available. But it exists. Trust them.
Since posting the above comment I have had an email exchange with the developer and I was impressed with his responsiveness and professionalism.
As his reply above states, the versioning problem was fixed and I am a happy Dateline user.
One minor issue which the developer is working to fix--but which should be pointed out here--if you select the Desktop option in the Window Level menu (Preferences/Appearance) you will not be able to access Dateline except immediately after launch.
For the fun of it I just checked Unsanity's website and what to my wondering eyes appeared?
"Unsanity is still hard at work on Snow Leopard compatibility for the rest of our stuff and will be announcing availability as things become ready. Look for posts from Slava and Rosyna about WindowShade…"
There's an old saying: "You'll never miss your Mother until she's gone." Kind of how I am feeling on Snow Leopard without Mail Badger.
The good news is the developer is working on a SL release. Hopefully, we'll get it soon and can go back to not realizing just how much this makes our lives easier.
I love Leap 2.beta and plan to purchase when 2 becomes official.
Only gripe is that I now wish I could REPLACE Finder with Leap. It would be great to have the Leap interface when I open folders and drives instead of Finder.
Oh well, I guess I will just have to retrain myself to always start in Leap. Unless someone knows of a way...???
SWO Good question. The only way around it that I have found is to dedicate a space for Leap, and to make that my starting point. You could have it so that it appears in every space, but then I think that you would find it more obstructive than helpful.
Yeah, I have just started retraining myself. I much prefer the Leap interface to Finder's. I use tagging extensively and that makes Leap a much more useful file finder than Finder.
"The thing of it is though, that I find myself using Spotlight because it's wherever I am; Leap by contrast isn't. If there could be a way to design it's interface that makes it vanish unless called upon (in the same fashion as Spotlight), and doesn't make me pick up the mouse, then I would use it much more.
As it is, I haven't upgraded to 2.0 because my workaround locks me uncomfortably in one Space. "
I use Cmd-Tab to switch between apps and then Cmd-H to hide them when I'm done. I have Leap open when my system starts so it is always open for me.

There is no better password/identity program out there.
Don't leave home without it.

To fix this choose the Desktop Icons option.

After weeks of waiting for a comment or a response, I gave up and moved on.
I love free apps and have donated to the few I use, but this really does underscore the difference between paid and free apps: responsiveness.

Glad to help.
And for what its worth, I purchased Leap when it came out of beta. Worth every cent.
