Downloaded and paid for version 1.5.1 to convert large swf file to Quicktime so that I could edit. EasyWMV was simple to setup and operate, but it failed at the same point every time (432K of a large 120MB file). I must credit the coder, however. I received a prompt reply to my request for help. The suggestion to try another swf file was a good one, however it also failed. This time, the Quicktime video was created, but only with audio. The coder offered a refund which I accepted. If the coder is able to make this work, I would definitely try again, considering the excellent customer service.
I have been able to download Doctor Who episodes from season 6 using iPlayer, though it has not been without frustration. Downloads will occasionally completely fail, however, if I wait a couple days, the download will be successful. The quality of the downloads has varied from near HQ to very poor with many visual artifacts. I have simply tried again and been successful occasionally on downloading the second time. Though there are frustrations, I am in the USA, not the UK, so I will not complain much at all. I love being able to watch my favorite science fiction show, Doctor Who, without waiting for months to a year for them to become available here in the States. Thank you, iPlayer.
