MediaWiki
take a look at Wikipedia... it's not a WordPress like "easy to install" blogging or CMS software.
This is a great, well-featured, secure and extensive solution to build a rich Knowledge Base with support of many media types.
Is there any software on market, that does the same job as good as MediaWiki for free (free as in free beer :)?
No, i think! Its not a sofware for everyone, but the best for a huge collection of knowlegde articles.
