I am looking for something like this, but seeing all the complaints about the not responsive dev makes me not even want to try this software. Obviously rolling out a V2 of the app with possiblibily for paid upgrades instead of listening to customers says it all.
That's what I like about MacUpdate, we should unveil the "Hit and Run" companies ..
Posting poor support issues is a good thing.

That's good Ferhat, support questions can be very personal and sometimes can't be taken seriously, as some comments cannot be taken seriously. I agree with that.
Information on Macupdate is usually helpful in determining wether a program is worth being evaluated. I have paid some upgrade fees that were effectively bug-fixes. I am not saying you or your company do that, but for me the best reason for buying a program is besides functionality of course support. The comments were not too enthousiastic, but let me make clear I did not have a problem with your support and I respect and value your comment.

Let It Snow

Detlevski reviewed on 21 Dec 2011
Don't buy! It seemed like a nice idea a little snow whilst working. CPU: 14% and WindowServer soares up to 65%.
Does not work on my multiple display setup and crashed on setting the prefs within 1 minute.

Did I already said how I hate this App Store ?
Never buy software without a testdrive ...

Scrutiny

Detlevski reviewed on 26 Nov 2011
Scrutiny is a handy app, validation seems nice but always times out and I have not discovered a way to disable validation. Interface and GUI have some glitches. Why is the menu name scrutiny and not Scrutiny (capitalised) ?
Despite this I consider buying it.
But there still is some work to be done.

MacDive
Detlevski commented on 25 Oct 2010
At first I did not feel comfortable with the switch from freeware to shareware, but MacDive is actively developed and the communication with Nick( the developer) is very nice and my issues where handled quite fast. I have been a Suunto Dive Manager user and I am very glad to log my dives in MacOS. The interface looks Mac like, and the data are saved in a SQL-Lite database, which makes my data app-independant.

Detlevski had trouble on 31 Mar 2010
I have tried the 1.4.4 beta.
Lost my library the next startup.
The UI had some quirks, like not updating the the rightpane while clicking the left pane.
Another bug was the ''delete snippet", it did not work.

I have reported all the bugs, and well there it is, the final version 1.4.4 : the delete button still doesn't work.

BBEdit
detlevski had trouble on 11 Sep 2006
Ever since I have updated to 8.5 I have to enter my FTP password over and over again
for :
1. connecting to the FTP server
2. saving each individual file back to the server.

This of course is a very bad thing ....
Has anyone else encountered this issue ?
