As I stated last time you posted an improved version: No demo-No purchase! You replied that demo renewals when the app. is updated and "improved" would be addressed. Having the confidence to allow potential customers to try the hypothetical "improvements" may yield more customers. Keeping your word about allowing demos for new versions would help too.
I also tried a previous version and it was "too much" relative to a trebly gain at times. When I read of the improvements I thought "there we go"; built in safeguards and thought I would purchase it after ascertaining the promises via a demo: I was informed my Demo time (for a previous version that I had to turn off back months ago with a previous computer) was up. All I need is a try: an hour- not 30 days or a week or even a day. If you are not confident enough in your product to demo the new version: Forget It!
My finder started crashing which I do not remember it ever doing so I deleted the preference pane including the application enhancer. I do not mean to be unfair (as in I cannot be sure of a cause and effect) but it was coincidental.
I had what I thought was a problem that resolved itself with a Safari restart. I emailed the developer to request some troubleshooting and he emailed me back by that evening in an affable and accessible way (with more than one follow up). As I stated it was not needed as a Safari restart galvanized the dictionary. Works terrifically in Safari 4 public beta.
What kind of engine is this browser built upon? Can you transfer bookmarks? I went to the linked developers website but there was no reference to the browser?
Even though I am unable to try this incarnation and therefore deleted the application from Preference Pane in the Library the darned popup asks me to purchase it whenever I restart my computer. How do I get rid of this popup. This just stinks!
Thank you for your help. I knew that without knowing it, i.e., I forgot. I removed it from login items and identified remnants in the finder which I deleted.
I'm sorry for my tech naivete but the directions (I have never attempted any script manipulation, augmentation, etc.) are not supporting my understanding or application of the usage of this. Indeed I place the Findersize folder in my app folder: (do I then double click the FS folder while in the applications folder or not?) I size the finder window as I would like for my 24'' iMac screen. Then doubleclick GFS followed by SFS as directed. Then I copy the numbers on line 3 without the brackets as directed and then get lost? Paste these numbers without the brackets where? I feel like my confusion will confuse you but there does seem to be a step left out of the direction. Perhaps an intuition that is taken for granted when messing with scripts. I would like to standardize the finder window to always open to encompass the full size of the 24'' screen. Thanks. Dennis
Can you use the iTunes point to library rather than store option exclusively while leaving all else without any change at all? I have my Leopard dock completely transparent and do not want that to be overridden by Secrets. Thanks.
So can someone answer definitively: Is Monolingual safely functional on Leopard? because the Monolingual website certainly does not specify such. Although this is newly re-added to Macupdate this is not a new version. Thank you.
