Cookie

Good. After my feedback and tests, now the developer has fixed the CPU usage. And nothing to do with the number of favorites.

I like a lot Cookie, but ehm ... I see it eats a huge amount of CPU. (20% up to 70-80-95% sometimes !.. so global CPU usage 37-50%). It seems too much for a background application ...

105 Domains, 105 Favorites | 510 unique Cookies
9 Flash Cookies, 8 Favorites
55 Domains, 51 Favorites | 57 Unique Databases

Any idea to reduce CPU usage will be really appreciated, thanks : )

Hmmm ... now here:
81 Domains, 81 Favorites | 412 unique Cookies
9 Flash Cookies, 8 Favorites
51 Domains, 47 Favorites | 53 Databases

Not a big cut, and actually I don't see any differences regarding CPU usage.

So please I have some questions about this.
How many favorites should I have (5, 10, 20, ...) ? And do you mean less favorites Cookies, Flash and/or Databases favorites ?
Then, if I cut favorites should I configure non-favorites as Unwanted Data or this is not important ..?
Last but not least, may you tell me what I have to do if I would backup the current settings ..?

Thanks : )

Strange ... Now I have the same favorites as I wrote before (81 Domains and so on ...) and I restarted my MacBook ... restored the Last Session of Safari and now Cookie uses very little CPU (0,1% !). I will see later.

A last question: I've seen in ~/Library/Application Support/Cookie/Favorites.plist, so if I back up this plist file and then I change my Favorites I should be able to restore them. Am I right ?

5 stars : )
Thanks a lot
