I Havn't had appcleaner for very long, but it has impressed me. I was close to buying appzapper at one point, partly cos i loved the zapp sound effect, but mostly for the lifetime update guarantee, and the fact it didn't seem too much to pay to be able to keep my mac clean and uncluttered (don't want our macs turning out like every pc on the planet), but appzapper hasn't been updated for 2 years, so it seems a pointless guarantee. appcleaner has a cool cube flip-around view when you choose the app to clean, no cool zapp soundeffect, but for a free app works perfect. I got rid of iGTD2 with it, and after cleaning it and spotlighting one file was still there, but i just put it through appcleaner a second time and every trace was removed, no worries, just have to be patient, but considering it's free, seems fine.
