Wow i chose the right day to reinstall / rediscover this plugin. I forgot I was putting up with iChat's limited room for choice. Thank you for continuing the updates.

After i figured out how to set it to do a weekly backup when i wanted it to, it took about an hour and a half to sort of index the hard drive and copy it.

When the next scheduled backup came around it found out what was existing on the external and only copied the new stuff as it should. It's not as quick as Time Machine but is an excellent and free alternative.
