While I note STERNHAMMER's comments I, nevertheless, maintain my opinion of this program.
To give that reviewer the benefit of any doubt I, once again, executed a download. While earlier versions did, indeed, download and perform in a wholly inadequate manner, this particular version fails to function whatsoever!
There are far better timer systems. Look at Minuteur, Dock Timer or Until if you want a dock-applied manifestation. Or Tiny Alarm in the
menu bar, otherwise. All, or a combination thereof, knock the crap out of this!
Have been running this nice little utility for a week now. It runs absolutely flawlessly and does the job beautifully. My only niggle, and that's all it is, is the file "gmon.out" left in the Finder after each use. Easily deleted. But why is it there?
The >Anonymous (2/29/04)< reviewer is absolutely correct, you can click and drag artwork. However, tell me kiddo, how long would it take you to implement 225 titles using such a methodology? Export Artwork can do it in less than ten minutes! It's a lovely little app. Believe me!
Please, get rid of that icon! There are others out there as freeware. David, please choose one. Nice app. but dreadfull icon concept and execution. Content over style, yes...but there is a limit!
What a wonderful little app. As the developer states...Intelligent Stickies (and the rest). So many programs try to be too clever and, more to the point, too complicated. For all you guys out there, remember...less is more! Well done, kid.
It is difficult to find any justification for this product! As 'freeware' it provides a basic calendar function (ie. it tells you the date), it also tells you the time (in the Toolbar...but, hey, isn't that there already?). As to the post-registration functions? Well, kids, they just don't exist! I'm afraid to say...don't spend the dollars!
Terrific! Great idea. Good, simple graphics (which is as it should be) reflecting and, maybe, paying homage to London Underground's design heritage - since used as a benchmark by so many urban transport systems worldwide (and, ironically, now lost at its source). However, this is about more than that - potentially a far greater picture, encapsulating the UK's national rail network as well as specifics like London's DLR and Dublin's DART. On a personal basis my only negative is that it's of little practical use to me on a day-to-day basis at this time. Both the Underground and national networks need to be developed for the program to really become truly magnificent. Keep at it Mr Boros. The rewards will, most certainly, be there!
