As an ex-Eudora user, I was very frustrated with Apple Mail until I installed FlagIt!. This is a perfect little add-on that really enhances the Mail experience.

Sawmill

I am a huge fan of Sawmill.
I use it every month to create website traffic analysis reports for 20 customers' websites.

For years I used WebTrends, but then they decided they did not want my money and so I looked at alternatives. Many alternatives.

Sawmill is an excellent product. Flowerfire has very good support.

My only negative is that the manual is not as clear and thorough as it could be.

By the way, I also use Google Analytics on most sites as it is great when a customer wants a snapshot "right now".

Inkscape

I really wanted to like Inkscape. But, when I surfed to http://inkscape.org/ I saw the classic open source homepage that does NOT ENTICE ME to use it.

The biggest problem I have with open source software is that no one gives a crap about MARKETING.

Lion Cache Cleaner

I think Snow Leopard Cache Cleaner is great.
I had a directory/file in my Trash that I could not delete.
I tried everything over a period of 14 months.
I called AppleCare and spent an hour on the phone and could not delete the file.
I installed SLCC and deleted the file.
It was worth every penny.

eMail Extractor

I use Email Extractor once a week.
It works perfectly.
I get UNsubscribe emails and I dump them all in a temporary Apple Mail mailbox and use Email Extractor.

I used VersionTracker Pro for years and never looked at anything else until this last year as CBS completely screwed up the product.
Now that I have used MacUpdate Desktop for over 6 months, I can say that it is better than VT Pro ever was.
I find the support to be quite good.
Is MUD worth the money? Yes, it is.

Nambu

I am very happy with Nambu for Mac OS X. I use Twitter for B2B tweeting and following and need a desktop client that simplifies the management of both actions.
Nambu does a great job.
I would pay $20 for Nambu as I have come to depend upon it.

My only complaint about Nambu is that the developer uses Get Satisfaction for the customer forum and I personally think that Get Satisfaction is just pathetic.

A sad day as there does not seem to be a really good contact manager for Mac OS X.

I used NowX as my only contact manager for almost a year a shile it had its problems, it also had great features.
