The user interface is simple, clean, it is very fast, even faster than Safari in many cases despite the fact that it is still 32 bit browser ( I am running 10.6.2 in 64 bit mode). Extensions are very attractive features but they can potentially slow down the browsers (as with Firefox). One useful thing that I find missing with the Bookmark Manager is the ability to sort bookmarks by title.
Definitely a step in the right direction, the CPU usage drops to 70 % on my Mac Mini (MacOS 10.6.2) while using Pandora, ClassicFM, National Geographic with Safari. Previously, I can't hardly move my mouse.
I know that I probably annoy some people by saying that Safari is a toy. Believe me, I am a Mac fan but also a long-time Safari sufferer, nothing Safari does is right to me, plus it is a memory hog and a bad flash plug in handler. Chrome liberates me from all those.
Chrome must be god-sent for Mac user because other browsers on Mac are either non-usable, like a toy (e.g. Safari, Opera), or ugly like Firefox. The other browser, Omniweb, is kind of acceptable, I recalled that that I had to purchase Omniweb because I had to surf internet on my Powerbook, no other choice before Google chrome.
Thanks for pointing it out. This is the first time that I posted on this site and I was in a hurry so I did not really pay any attention of how to award stars. I thought I could always come back and correct my post. Well, so much for the user friendliness of the state of the art!
