Thanks for responding so quickly to my last question, Jolly.
I tried using JollysFastVNC to connect to a VNC server over the Internet, but it didn't work. It has only worked on a machine on the same subnet. It did ask for the password, but then nothing happened. Is this a known issue?
I was considering downloading this program, but the reactive comments from the developer turned me right on. Remember that people can be just as incompatible as software is. Don't let a few negative comments be a reason to post such personal judgments as "I think you're an arrogant idiot".
I have v1.1.3 installed, which has a "Check for Update" feature. I'm surprised they included that as a "new feature" for v1.1.6. Anyway, when I clicked the button, it said there was no updates available. Come on Dolby, if you're going to play in the Mac arena, you'd better get your ducks in a row... experience is everything here.

JollysFastVNC
I would like to know why it's called "Jollys Fast" rather than "Jolly Fast"... why the extra "s" on the end of "Jolly"?

On that note, what is with the menus??? A lot of work and cleanup is needed there before this can be considered a worthwhile application.
It's more than functionality, it's about user experience. My experience has been poor.
