my folder permissions were changed
i was no longer able to download from itunes etc
i then was no longer able to reboot my machine
i'd hit restart and it got stuck in a restart loop
i had to use the installation disks to reinstall the operating system
update the operating system with software update
recover my personal files from backup process
took an entire day to restore
i'm no expert but the only thing i did was use onyx and the rest of the events above were the consequence - i do not recommend this and will not use it again
