Like the other poster, I was looking for an iAddressX replacement, which stopped working in Snow Leopard. I too was relieved. This is a great utility app, just as easy to use as iAddress and just as functional, if not more so. Well worth the dough, as it will get used on a daily basis for years to come.
OK, there may be a problem with some serials not working (mine does and I don't lose it) and the developer not answering emails (for an app this widely used, he probably gets too many). But this is a great app. It works and does so with a sensible and easy to use GUI. When I need something that I can't or won't buy, I go to Acquisition and it hardly ever fails.
Just tried it on 10.3.5 and iTunes 4.7. Performed as advertised if not better, although I have only used it for small playlists at a time. Hats off to the developer!
Highly recommend this one. Does what it says it does. Unlike GetInfo. I had hundreds if not thousands of folders and files that got their privileges altered (long story) and these had to be copied onto a new computer. Good luck doing this with GetInfo.
I wrote the "buyer beware" post (see below) because the 8.0x "upgrade" was so poor. I am happy to say that 8.2 has changed all that. Am now glad I paid. I encourage all of you to do the same.
Buyer beware. Just paid for v0.8 thinking that the upgrade of a whole decimal probably meant a big improvement in performance. The opposite is true. You can only connect to 6 networks now (before it was 12); there are far fewer hits per search; and a much greater percentage of hits never download (hosts are constantly offline). If the host is offline or busy, don't show the file!
My advice: Stick with 0.74 and don't even think of spending your money until the problems with 0.8 are resolved. (Yes, I have tried 0.802 and it is no better.)
