I want to like Chrome but it's download manager needs a little work and it's not compatible with Speed Download (not Google's fault but it's the same reason I don't use Opera). Chrome is crazy fast and the HW acceleration smokes Safari. I get 52 fps on Mozilla's HW acceleration test page with Chrome and 12 fps with Safari 5. Opera does very well on this test but I forget the fps.
Once Chrome fixes the download manager (e.g. notify via sound of DL complete, limit DL B/W, etc.) it'll become my default browser...or Opera will,. whichever comes first.
After using TextWrangler to learn Python in I wanted something a little more seamless/integrated so I bought CodeRunner. Couldn't be happier with CodeRunner.
Looks like a great program but without a demo there's no way I'd drop $10 when there's so many good alternatives out there. Need to be able to see why it's worth $10.
Great program but I wish there were more options for throttling upload/download speeds >1000kbps. Also it'd be nice to have an option on the download popup window to "sleep after all downloads complete" or "shutdown after all downloads complete" for those big or slow downloads. Overall a great program but could use a few tweaks to make it better.
Funny, the version number doesn't change and the changes are dated 2 Dec 2011 but the posted date is today. Yesterday the polst date was yesterday...I'm curious how many other programs get "updated" to remain at the top of the MacUpdate program listings (and in bold/red text).
Really used to be a great game but has been marred by all the accouterments (e.g. hats on top of hats, iPods, etc.) that detract from the game.
SpeedDownload and Opera 11.6 work together! Here's how to configure Opera:
1. In the Opera URL Bar type: OPERA:CONFIG
2. In gthe quick search bar type: DOWNLOAD MANAGER
3. In the text entry block type: /Applications/Speed Download 5/Speed Download.app
Or whatever the path and name of SpeedDownload is. Now if only 1Password would work with Opera I could use it all the time.

@Fyreflye: I use SD to throttle B/W. BTW, http://mac.softpedia.com/get/Internet-Utilities/Chrome-Extensions/Download-Assistant.shtml is the extension.
