IMHO an excellent and handy application that helps to keep all your notes and written thoughts in one place, accessible anywhere: from your computer at home, at work or from your mobile phone (AFAIK it supports iPhone, iPod, iPad, Android and Blackberry phones). You can collect notes wherever you are, even when you're keeping an eye on your twitter account.
Downsides? Very few IMHO, I'd personally like to be able to create some checklists... a thing that you can already do manually now, but I love to have some serious checkboxes and task syncronization à-la-OmniFocus if you know that program.
I love Vitamin-R, along with the "Pomodoro technique" it helps me every day to concentrate on my work. The only feature missing I'd like to see implemented is a better way of seeing how many blocks of time I have done during the day... a summary screen that might look something like:
October 6:
(o)' 10:30 - (o)' 11:00 - (o)' 11:30 - (o)' 12:00
The (o)' is just an icon of a tomato in my mind ^__^ it could be everything else of course.
If you are nostalgic, you have owned or always dreamed about owning an Atari 2600 and in the mood of playing some old games that have made history, well look no further since you won't find any better emulator than Stella.
A very nice app that does what it promises, but it definitely needs to provide a better way of handling tables, because as the handling was implemented it's quite impossible to do anything good with them. Another downside is the lack of any update in more than six months... it seems to me that the developers are trying to port the application to the iPad... good for them since an iPad version would mean a lot of money, bad for us waiting for some fixes I guess. These are the worst downsides of the application IMHO.
I patiently waited 9 months to see a new release, and it's still missing code folding / unfolding, that is a vital feature for anyone that writes a lot of PHP code... I'm disappointed.
Sorry, it's my fault... It's my first time on MacUpdate and I have uploaded the DMG to MacUpdate servers, but it seems that the uploaded file is broken. Now I have fixed that issue. (1/20/2008, Version: 1.1)
