I tried both Max and xact. Neither of them wrote the tags well in the AIFF ripped files. Sometimes the tags would stay, and sometimes you would double click a file in iTunes, and it would revert back to the filename. This program, since it is using iTunes to write the tags, does that well.
It would be nice if Pillage wasn't dependent on other apps, but it does the job it says.
