Although I would like to be able to customize a little more (to hide the "GR:" in the menubar all together when no unread items), overall this is the only program I've seen that allows to show your unread google reader items outside a browser.

It's simple, fast, efficient, and does what you expect. A perfect companion to the official Google Notifer. It could definitely use a new icon though. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone that uses google reader for RSS. I can't live without it anymore.

OK I have officially switched from Safari to Camino. The only two (very minor) things that I miss: (1) the downloads window doesn't automatically remove downloads that have completed, and (2) the refresh button doesn't turn into a stop button while a page loads.
