Change Desktop

blueatria reviewed on 27 Dec 2008
I love this app. It does much more than the standard wallpaper settings and does it very well. I really like being able to change the wallpaper whenever I want with a hotkey. Also the effects provided are very nice and are more extensive than the system provides.
It would be nice if this could run as a preference pane although the app is great as it is. I hope you keep doing further development. It would be nice to see the option of specifying photo websites such as flickr as a source for example.

Absolutely brilliant! A very nice utility and it works great with 10.5.2. I like how it extends the contextual menu in applications.

Zinio Reader

blueatria reviewed on 13 Feb 2008
I installed the new UB test version the reader and delivery manager and it works great. I am running 10.5.2 on a MacBook Pro. It is a bit faster than the old ppc version (which I had no problem with). I get several US magazines this way as the prices for things like Mac World in Australia are just extorionate ($AUD 12-15!!) and the Zinio reader is not a bad way to read magazines. The delivery is automatic and very simple. I hope they don't go to a browser based reader like their example iphone reader as that is pathetic. I like the reader and if they could make a native application for the iphone/touch I would be very happy. I have been quite a long time Zinio user (about 3 years). I highly recommend Zinio.
