@Umaromc: which version of Flash are you using? This latest beta works better on my MacBook when playing YouTube videos, and one of the fixes noted for this release is "Increased performance while viewing Flash content".
Chrome has been able to sync bookmarks, extensions, preferences, themes and AutoFill data for quite some time now using your Google account. Click on the Chrome menu item in your menu bar and there's an option for "Setting up sync" or something along those lines.
As for Google Notebook, Google discontinued development on Notebook over a year ago so I doubt that they will add this to a future build of Chrome.
Amazing and sneaky. v5.4.3 checks for updates and tells me 6.0.3 is available for download, with the following:
"GarageSale 6 is a MAJOR, PAID UPGRADE for owners of previous versions that adds an unbelievable amount of new features, including support for item condition, item variations, and inventory tracking."
When I click on Skip This Version, it prompts me with "Please note that the update to GarageSale 6.0.3 (415) is not free. Do you still want to download and install the update?" What gives? If I choose to skip a version, that generally means I don't want to install that update.
Same old unintuitive program with a completely different version # to justify an upgrade charge. It finally adds support for current eBay features and is a bit faster. No thanks.
Works perfectly. There were some minor bugs with the initial 2.0 release (like trial timeouts) but I've never had issues with downloading or decoding large archives from Giganews. Still needs the ability to "watch" a folder for NZB files. Bit overpriced for a Usenet client, though.
What is the point of this app, may I ask? Unless you have more than 4GB of RAM installed, then there's no need or advantage for a Mac to boot up in 64-bit mode.
GrowlSafari does not work anymore with Safari 3.1.1 running under OS X 10.5.3. I also had the same issue as a previous poster where the installer failed on the first try but worked successfully on the 2nd. Weird.
