On 9/21/06 I purchased VueScan. On 10/1/06 I purchased a Canon 8600 scanner. VueScan did not support the Canon 8600. Today is 11/28/06 and VueScan still does not support the Canon 8600. In responce to my emails the developer replied that Canon has not responded to his request for a document and when they do -IF EVER- then VueScan will support the Canon 8600. It's good to know that my $49.95 purchase may never be supported. The "IF EVER" are the words of the developer.

Not ready for prime time. Typing 3 recipes went ok but could not select a single recipe in Shopping to print. The Shopping page has a bug and I could not select a single recipe to print. Can't close windows by clicking upper left pageâ€”must quite the application. Can't save recipes to Document folder. Instructions and help[ page need work. Application concept and graphics are good but there are too many bugs to purchase this 1.0 version.
