Still the gold standard for Safari plug-ins. Well worth the money.
With this new version the flash blocker is only 50% effective (on both an iMac G5 and a MacBook Pro). But I am sure that it will be fixed for future versions.
Most pro users looking for a replacement for MS Office are looking for the same functionality - the same interconnectivity (even interdependency) - that MS Office offers.
Yes I should have directed my comments at OpenOffice (and I am sorry, no offence to the NeoOffice devs). But power users need that ability to interact across apps like what MS Outlook and MS Entourage offer to be able to make full use of these apps. Until then, both NeoOffice and OpenOffice will not be truly useful to anyone but small-scale users.
What this desperately needs is a e-mail/calendar/address book (all in one) app like MS Entourage or MS Outlook. Without it, is really isn't worth it, despite the much-touted features and all the hype.
I need such a feature as I use MS Entourage right now and it integrates right into MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. NeoOffice, while very stable, and full of features, does not translate MS Office docs very well. Formatting is the first to go - I depend on letterheads and maargins, spacing, etc. to remain just as I had it at work (where I use MS Office). Neo Office just moves everything around the page in PowerPoint and Word docs, and forget about macros in Excel sheets.
Right now Neo Office is just good for the individual who just wants to use it at home, and just for a very limited use. Businesses need to go elsewhere if they have the same needs as I do (above).
Have configured the app just the way the dev says to - yet my port always remains "stealthed" and I can't connect at all. This after 20 minutes of trying to figure it all out.
This app looks great, but won't list anything for my University of Phoenix newsgroups. I made sure that all of my information is correct, it just won't show anything at all.
This badly needs an uninstaller. I tried to uninstall it after iCal and Address Book would get hung up and I couldn't force-quit them after installing OmniGrowl.
But no luck - I had to trash the OmniGrowl files I found under Spotlight and then quit the processes from within Activity Monitor for Growl and then log out/log in. It was the only way I could trash OmniGrowl.
This caused Mail to freeze up the main window. I could still go into/modify prefs, but the main window didn't display anything and I couldn't view any text/images in the preview pane. I could only fix it by deleting the MailPictures .bundle file in the user's folder. Definately needs some work.
This would be a great little piece of software if it weren't for the fact that once you split a domain file, you can't merge the two parts back together again. One would think this sort of functionality would be included with this sort of application, but the developer seems to have left it out(?). Not sure why - it has now left me unable to publish my family's site at all, as my original backup of my domain file causes iWeb to crash when I try to load it (on two different Macs).
I would recommend steering away from this application until such a feeature was included.
I did everything according to the directions, but no change at all. Tried modifying several pictures and text strings, but no change occured. A little frustrated, hope this improves with more development, it's a neat idea.

The two-line interface changed a lot. It looks different from v0.1, to the point where I had to uninstall it. Please bring back the look of v0.1.
