Works really well for 10.6 and below. Lion support is just ok. It's functional but a little unstable.

I checked out the demo since it's on sale in the app store. I had high hopes for an alternative to TextExpander. It doesn't seem to be working on Lion very well. I was able to add a single expansion but it wouldn't let me add any more. Back to TextExpander... :/

Great product, my only complaint is that it's so awesome I'm addicted to it.

The developer's website mentions opening a 50MB file in seconds, so I tried with a 30MB CSV file that I had. First it couldn't recognize that it used comma delimiters, not sure why. Then I let it try to open it for a few minutes, but finally canceled when it hit the 900MB memory mark. I didn't get a chance to try the application, but if my system couldn't handle opening the file, I doubt it would be able to do much with it once it was open.

Archiver

Nice clean interface and supports a range of archive types. I got it free from macbuzzer.com/ and can't help but wonder who would actually pay for something like this. Aren't there other free applications that do essentially the same thing? Maybe the extra features are worth it to some people.

It would be really nice if you could drag files in one at a time instead of having to do them all at once. That way you could easily build archives from files in different locations.

CoverScout

I received this as part of the MacHeist bundle and decided to try it out since I have some missing art work. This thing is a CPU hog! It took forever for it to scan all my iTunes music and determine which albums needed artwork. I was a little confused at first because it's difficult to tell if an album doesn't have art, or just hasn't loaded yet. It has a lot of potential, but for being v 3.x, it seems like it belongs on Windows.
