Stay away! Developer is unreliable and untrustworthy.
When iReadFast first came out, I participated in the beta comments program, where I sent in my suggestions in return for a promised free license. I sent in my suggestions, the developer sent an acknowledgment of receipt, but I never received the promised free license. Follow-up emails went unanswered. If you're looking for a trustworthy and reliable developer, stay away!
This is nothing but adware for your Mac! Not only does it constantly display pathetic "deals", it doesn't even display the proper ones -- i.e. the ones from Apple CANADA (I clicked a link and it went to the US store). STAY AWAY.
Great little app that does exactly what it's meant to do -- and for free!
I had an issue where the the app failed to find my modified Windows volume (I had installed NTFS-3G to allow writing to my NTFS volume). I contacted the developer and he had a fix done the SAME DAY!
Amazing support for a useful app, all for free. You can't ask for more!
After installing this program, I noticed that my Macbook Pro (running Leopard 10.5.2) failed to go to sleep when idle, instead of obeying my Energy Saver settings to sleep after several minutes of idleness. It would stay on the ENTIRE night if I forgot to manually shut it down. After wasting half a day trying to figure out what the problem was, I uninstalled Paragon and my Macbook Pro now sleeps as normal!
A quick Google search finds that I'm not the first to experience this extra "feature" of the program.
I should also note that MacFUSE -- another NTFS enabling software -- also results in this failure to sleep, so the problem isn't unique to Paragon. However, at least MacFUSE is free...

Interestingly, I tried Paragon NTFS (another program that allows you to read/write to NTFS formatted drives) and experienced the same problem.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
